How we review AI companion apps

Every Crushella guide is built from each app's own published pages: its home page, pricing page, terms of service, privacy policy, community guidelines and App Store or Google Play listing. Each guide links those pages at the end, so you can check any claim yourself.

The eight things we check

Dates and gaps

Apps change prices and rules often, so every guide says when we read its sources, and the "Updated" date at the top shows the last check. We aim to re-check each guide at least every three months. When an app does not publish something, such as its free message limit, the guide says "not published" instead of guessing.

What users report

When a guide quotes what users say on Reddit or in app store reviews about billing, memory or filters, it labels those as user reports and never presents them as fact.

Hands-on testing

When a guide describes something we tried in an app ourselves, it says so and gives the date. Everything else comes from the published sources listed at the end of that guide.

The app we earn from

Our home page sends people to OurDream.ai, and we earn a commission when they subscribe. That does not buy it a better write-up: it goes through the same eight checks, and where its pages leave something out, we say so. More on this on our about page.

Corrections

If a price, policy or link in a guide is wrong, email support@crushella.com. We check the source and update the guide and its date.
